Specifically, it offers a continuous measurement frequency of 3Hz when measuring the same target and 2Hz when switching between different targets. Compact, Lightweight & Rugged Design: Additionally, this ultra-compact module measures just Ø23mm × 40mm and weighs only 22±0.5g. Consequently, it balances portability with durability exceptionally well. It also features IP67 ingress protection, shock resistance of 1000g/ms, and vibration resistance of 5–50–5Hz at 2.5g. Therefore, engineers have built it to withstand even the most demanding environments.
Wide Temperature Adaptability: Furthermore, the module operates reliably from -20°C to +60°C and stores safely from -25°C to +75°C. As a result, it maintains stable performance across diverse environmental conditions, from cold outdoor settings to demanding industrial applications.
Standard Serial Communication & Easy Integration: For seamless connectivity, the module adopts a UART-TTL (3.3V) interface with a default baud rate of 115200 bps. Moreover, it supports multiple baud rate configurations, including 9600, 14400, 19200, 38400, 56000, 57600, 115200, 128000, and 230400 bps. This flexibility greatly facilitates embedded system integration and secondary development.

Single & Continuous Ranging: To begin with, the module supports both single-shot measurement and continuous ranging modes with customizable intervals. As a result, it enables flexible operation for static target surveying or real-time dynamic monitoring.
Power-On Self-Test: Additionally, the module features built-in self-test functionality that verifies system status upon power-up. Specifically, STA=1 indicates successful initialization, while ErrCode reports failure diagnosis. Consequently, this ensures reliable operation before each use.
Low-Power Mode Control: Moreover, the enable pin (Pin 6) allows dynamic power state switching. Users can pull it low for normal operation or pull it high to enter low-power mode with consumption ≤1mW. Therefore, it proves ideal for power-sensitive embedded applications.
Configurable Baud Rate: Furthermore, the module supports nine baud rate settings (9600 to 230400 bps) via serial commands. These new settings take effect after device restart, providing excellent flexibility for integration with diverse host systems.
LD Continuous-On Mode: For development personnel, we have included a dedicated debugging mode that enables laser diode continuous operation for testing and alignment purposes. However, please note that users should not use this mode for extended periods.
Robust Communication Protocol: Finally, the module employs an 8-byte data frame format with header (55 AA), function code, data bytes, and checksum for reliable data transmission. All data transmits in hexadecimal format, with measurement values scaled by 10× to ensure data integrity.
